All semi-matte surfaces are susceptible to marks from flatware, cleaning with bar keepers friend & polish will remove these superficial marks. Trimmed with a low profile foot, and stamped 'LAIL' Please note, as with any handmade item subtle variants in color, shape, and size will occur and should be embraced.
