Phycomycin

Phycomycin is sold in 50 lb. granular bags. Phycomycin is a  sodium carbonate peroxydydrate based algaecide that works well in small ponds where oxygen depletion is a concern. This product is used where copper is not an option for Koi Ponds and trout farms. This product reduces organic build-up and destroys algal cell membranes and chlorophyll - providing immediate control of algae. Phycomycin is a fast-acting algaecide that kills algae on contact.  Dosage Rate: 15-40 lbs per acre ft of water. See label for more precise application rates.
