Summer Bacteria are sold in 2 lb. and 10 lb. containers. Beneficial Minerals are food safe. The bacteria improve water clarity, reduce odors, reduces nutrients available for algae growth, and reduces organic sediment. Summer bacteria is most effective when water temperatures are above 60°F. 10 lb. containers are available in bulk (free dry powder) and packets.  The packets can be tossed into the water, and the casing breaks down in the water, releasing the powder.
