History Helps

This book is packed with information and ideas for teaching history, encouraging both book work and hand-on activities. It includes a series of helpful sketches of civilizations throughout history, providing a good overview of the rise and fall of peoples and cultures through the ages. A unique section on Biblical history helps incorporate the Bible by placing Biblical books and people in their proper chronological settings. Included are maps, some of which are informational and some left blank to be filled in by students. Although History Helps was written as a companion for the Book of the Centuries, either book may be used independently.
