Double layer yarn dyed Vichy* (gingham) with  medium checks on one side, small checks on the other.   *Vichy is a medium-weight balanced plain-woven fabric made from dyed cotton or cotton-blend yarn. Its name is said to originate from an adjective in the Malay language, 'genggang', (sounds like "gingham,"  doesn't it?) which means "striped." When originally imported into Europe, in the beginning of the 17th century, it was a striped fabric, though nowadays it is mostly checkered.   100% cotton, 59" (150 cm) wide, 135 gsm   Care: delicate wash cold, hang dry and briefly "fluff" in cool dryer if needed.   Oeko-tex certified, BCI certified   Price per full yard is $25.00   Price listed is per quarter yard (9" linear), please order in multiples for desired total yardage (example: for 1/2 yard enter "2" for quantity, for 1 1/2 yards enter "6" for quantity).
