Wild White Pine Solid Perfume

** LIMITED EDITION** I only have 16 of these beautiful compacts, and once they are gone - they are gone!  This wild harvested solid perfume is made almost exclusively from evergreens. Pounds of white pine needles steep for weeks in jojoba oil. Once the green color has left the needles, I strain the oil and add more pine needles to make the infusion stronger.  The star of the show is white pine resin. While it may be tempting to collect it from a wound in the tree where it is abundant, doing so actually hurts the tree. Instead, I collect the tiny runoff drips. It takes me about an hour to gather one tablespoon. Once I come home, I warm up some of the infused pine oil and dissolve the resin into it. White pine resin is naturally antiseptic and anti-inflammatory, making it a powerful wound healer. (I wouldn’t recommend putting directly on wounds due to the addition of essential oils - but it’s fun to know that it naturally has healing properties!)  Local beeswax and essential oils of spru
