Wooden Obelisk Pair

I love obelisks - their unique, easily identifiable geometric form, their ancient roots (the first obelisks were built by ancient Egyptians!), and use in historical monuments around the world mean they will bring immediate sophistication and gravitas to a room. The symmetry provided by having a pair is the cherry on top! I sourced them from an estate sale in September 2024 and the owners of the house had a VERY clear thing for obelisks - I counted more than 20 pairs. And these were my favorite! I believe they were handmade and they are hollow on the inside, with pads added to the base to protect the surface where they sit.  These obelisks appear to be handmade of wood that has been finished with a light whitewash. There are some imperfections visible (wear to the tips, cracks in wood) but I think that lends character to them. 25” H Base is 7.25” x 7.25”
