Guatemala Asproguate Fairtrade Organic

We're excited to be able to offer you a very limited coffee release from the Asproguate cooperative in the Acatenango region of Guatemala. Asproguate was founded in 2014 for the purpose of growing coffee that was not only better for the environment, but that also provided greater economic stability for the region. A majority of Asproguate's farms are women-owned, and nearly all of Asproguate's members are of indigenous Kaqchikel and Tz'utujil ethnicity. This washed process coffee is grown in a valley located 85 kilometers from Guatemala City in between mountains and volcanoes. With its dense shade canopy and fertile soil, the area is known as an ecological gift and contributes to growing excellent coffee. Guatemala Asproguate is certified Fairtrade Organic, and grown at up to 2000 meters above sea level.
