Acrylic on Canvas 20" x 16" I would consider Puzzle 1 as one of my more unique paintings I have created in recent years because of it's technique. The refined detailed markings are inspired by images of indecipherable ancient text on stone and wood that I have seen over the years. At the same time this painting as a whole resembles a map of some affluent ancient town. It is up to the viewers to decide what they discover in this unique piece.
