Apple Valley Agate Slab Lapidary Stone Slice Cut Rock Jasp-Agate

Apple Valley Agate is a material from the Sahara Desert collected by sheep herding nomads. This attractive agate comes with loads of variety, with just about every piece being unique. It can have pseudomorphic tubes, gorgeous moss with various colors, picturesque patterns, plumes, poppies, red, green, orange, blue, purple, and pink. It is one of my favorites to cut, and while hardness can differ from chunk to chunk, it generally takes a gorgeous polish and works into some designer-grade cabochons.   Measurements (inches - longest - approx): 3.8 x 1.7 x .26   The last photo has been taken dry so that you may see any defects. The other images were taken wet to simulate a polish.
