The Unity humbucker set is a partnership: a powerful custom ceramic bridge with a throaty, hot Alnico neck combining to produce a muscular high gain tone for rock and metal. The bridge pickup produces a defined cut in the highs without compromising mid range weight or projection, and bass response is firm with plenty of depth. There’s masses of power on tap from the custom ceramic magnet, and the balanced coils produce excellent split coil tone too. Neck tones, care of the Isotropic Alnico V, are fat and chewy but still retain enough dynamic headroom to be really expressive under heavy gain. Again, there’s a lot of output on offer and both split coil and parallel tones offer up some superb clean tones. Applications: All rock and metal playing styles. Suitability: All solid body and semi hollow guitars including extended range and multi-scales.
