Summer Song
"When I think of summer, I think of the warmth and the wind. Growing up on the Texas gulf coast, we had impossibly long summers. As a kid, I loved everything about it: the heat, the winds off the gulf, the sand finding its way everywhere along the breeze. Even now, where I live in Ohio, I still dream back to those days. Summer heat is short-lived in Ohio, each season here is fleeting. On the one hand, it means you appreciate all the seasons very deeply, but I never quite get the long summers I miss. Still, there is a vibrant lushness to summer here that I love equally. Created by eco-printing with local area plants, these pieces represent a melding of those two worlds and my favorite things about them . . . both the lushness and the sun-kissed warmth. Both the wind-swept sands of my childhood and the vibrant forest plants of my life now." - Sarah Treanor 8 x 6 x 1.5" eco-print / mixed mixed media on wood panel red maple leaves sides painted cream wired and ready to hang ar
