Laurel Burch Art Jacket. Celestial Safari. One of a Kind.

Do you know about one of my favorite 70s era Bay Area artists -- Laurel Burch -- yet? Although she passed away a few years ago, her legacy lives on and her work is reproduced across a wonderful variety of mediums. One of them (perhaps my personal favorite) is onto fabric! I found this glorious quilting fabric covered in her unique illustrations and just knew I had to use it for something special. Here's the first thing I made with it! This is a 100% cotton jacket with a variety of fabric appliqués and hand embroidered accents.  One of a kind! Women's size medium (J.
