ABOUT THE ART Ever have one of those mornings when it's quiet, and you have time and peace and some magical connection with the beauty of the morning? Well, that's what I had one morning, when my teenage kids were still asleep, when the sun was barely up, and these pink cosmos flowers were blooming outside the window. And I thought, "those are so beautiful I should paint a picture of them." So I did. And then I designed a card with the illustration.
