"Offred" on Various Yarn Bases

"Offred" is inspired by the heroine in Margaret Atwood's classic novel "The Handmaid's Tale" I created this colorway immediately following the Supreme Court's overturning of Roe vs. Wade. Pink represents women, red the blood that has been shed and will be shed again if we allow others to make these choices for us. The speckles of color are symbolic of hope and the unity of women.
