Blue Damask Front Buttoned Maternity Shirt

I love making clothes for maternity and all the time I just keep thinking of different sewing techniques to come up with something comfortable for maternity. And just while making something one day, it struck me that adding pleats and gathers to any clothing makes it perfect as a maternity wear as it not only gives all the fullness needed for a pattern but most importantly it maintains its shape even after maternity...it may seem something very simple but yes I would say "Pleats and Gathers" are the magic mantra of maternity clothing.. So here I present my Blue Damask maternity shirt. I have added inverted box pleats to under bust seams which opens up and gives your growing belly all the space it needs :) And you would be able to wear it comfortably even after maternity..isn't that great!!!
