After formal artistic study, his career blossomed with notable works such as Breezy Day, which earned him acclaim and awards. After studying in Paris and exhibiting at the Paris Salons, his style evolved to feature leisure scenes and outdoor settings, often with fashionable women as subjects. He found inspiration at the Cragsmoor Art Colony, where he and his family spent summers for four decades, and he sometimes taught. Despite the emergence of new artistic styles, Curran remained devoted to his i
