This listing is for One ounce of organic loose Gunpowder Green tea sold by the oz. This loose green tea is tightly rolled "pellet" shaped green tea from China with a strong deep flavor. Brew as little or as much as you like in its loose form which can be used over again.  How to Brew Gunpowder Green Tea The Vessel: As for any rolled tea, you need a vessel that can easily accommodate the leaves' need to expand as they unfurl. Amount to use: Approximately 1 teaspoon per 6 to 8 ounces of water. Keep in mind what looks small before infusion will practically fill your vessel by the time the pearls unroll. Water Temp: Cool your water off the boil to between 175 to 185°F. Time: Add to preheated vessel and steep for 2 minutes—you may prefer longer. Gunpowder tea is good for reinfusions, which will take you through different degrees of strength of the tea on subsequent steepings. Enjoy!
