This is a painting of a Queen Anne's Lace, a beautiful flower and useful herb that grows wild on Long Island and many other places. I worked from my own digital pictures, taken with a Canon Rebel camera. I am in love with my camera. :)I painted in a bumblebee and a dragonflyI like to paint in a combination of realism and impressionism.I guess that is just a statement of my complexity, as even in my jewelry designs I use more than just one material and sometimes combine many different techiques and processes in one piece.It is an 8"x 10" original acrylic painting on canvas board.
