French: For Love So Sweet Sterling Silver

This ring is a replica of a handmade ring now in the Museum of London that dates to themid-15th century. The original ring was made of gold, and inscribed in relief around theoutside of the band in the period French spelling of the time. It was set with a heart-shapedred spinel in four prongs. Our adaptation has a created ruby in place of the spinel; both arered to maintain the symbolism. The sentiment, 'for love so sweet', touches us today as itmust have touched the owner of the original when she received it. The ring is the perfectreminder of those we love in our life.
