ABOUT THE WORK This gem was captured from Oceanside Pier on a hot summer evening. It was one of my first outings after the lockdowns and a year-long bout with an illness that kept me close to home. The town was teeming with life and the hazy, stagnant air created the most ethereal sunset that just seemed to linger. And so I lingered with it, as deep joy and gratitude welled up within me.
