Helianthus

The tiniest butterfly was used to create this piece, and is one of the few pieces where I left the intact butterfly as an obvious element of the work.  This piece was created as the war in Ukraine broke out, and I could not help but see a sunflower emerge in piece.  Named for the scientific name of Sunflowers, in hopes that Ukraine will be able to rise up to Russia and the peace will come.   RESIN:  A striking, high gloss work of art, ready to hang on your wall.  Photograph is mounted on a 1 1/2 inch cradled wooden board, then coated with resin.  Size: 18x24x1.5
