Antique French Plaster Religious Statue

This antique French religious statue shows a sweet scene, with the figure of a priest in robes standing with two children, a boy and girl, and a cheerful dog (behind the boy). The priest wears a crucifix around his neck and a cap on his head. The boy stands with his hat in his hands and the young girl is shown with her hair covered as well. We believe this is a 19th century piece, but it is not signed. It may also represent a saint. The piece is hollow (shown) but quite sturdy. The finish appears to be painted and has grey, white and greenish tones. Measures 12"W x 10.5"D x 19.5"H. Light surface wear present. Shipping includes fragile packing and insurance.
