Bernard took what he learned studying oenology in Beaune to craft an understated example of the intricacies of Syrah. In 1982, Domaine Bernard Burgaud was official. From all of their small parcels scattered mostly throughout Les Moutonnes and Côte Blonde, Pierre and Bernard only bottle one wine - Côte-Rôtie.
