Rune Set/Mixed Stones

This is a lovely rune set and all runes included are made of a mixture of tumbled gemstones with a runic symbol inscribed on each one. A paper instruction sheet and a velvet drawstring bag, for storing the runes, are included There has been much research about the runes and where they came from and when, but it seems there is no exact agreement on their past. The runes are often associated with the Norse god, Odin. All the runes I offer are based on the Elder Furthark, "an archaic alphabet and a divinatory system" (www.groveandgrotto.com). This is a very simplified explanation, but for our purposes, necessary. There is much controversy about the blank rune which comes in almost all modern commercial rune sets.
