Tuileries Garden Shawl knitting pattern
Tuileries Garden Shawl knitting pattern from the Summer in France collection by Lavender Hill Knits The Jardins des Tuileries Châle (Tuileries Garden Shawl) pattern was inspired by the Tuileries Garden in Paris. The stitch patterns of the shawl reflect the various parts of the garden with a border of Eiffel Towers on each end just to add a bit of fun. The shawl is knit in two pieces. A provisional cast-on is used at the center, half of the center pattern is worked, followed by three lace patterns and ending with the Eiffel Tower edging. You will then place the stitches from the provisional cast-on onto your needles and work the opposite end in the same manner. The simple lace patterns change often enough to keep things interesting, are easily memorized and don’t require charts! You’ll even learn some French words along your knitting journey! Your purchase includes pattern support - just send me an email or convo and I'll be happy to answer your questions or help you if you get stuck. P
