Lawrence Jeffrey Alchemy Collection. Circa 1870s, the original artifact in this ring is a diamond star-on-star pin. Ablaze with diamonds surrounded by lush sky blue turquoise, it has a striking visual presence underscored by exceptional attention to detail.  Each piece in the “Alchemy” collection is the only of its kind.   Alchemy by Lawrence Jeffrey is a transformative collection of dazzling new jewels created from a distillation of venerable fragments, rare gemstones, and inspired design.Origins: The exquisite double-star brooch at the heart of this ring is set with beautifully matched old mine diamonds. We hand-cut American Sky Blue turquoise cabochons, each slightly different, to fit the organic shape of the star's rays. The edge is trimmed in diamonds and the platinum under-gallery ghosts the form of the top in hand-textured panels festooned with a gold double star. The platinum band features collet-set diamonds.
