About: These recorders are based on original models by Hieronimus Franciscus Kynseker (Nuremberg, 1636 - 1686) kept in the Germanisches Nationalmuseum of Nuremberg. Features: - The bore is narrower than the renaissance recorder but wider than the baroque recorder - Some of the finger holes are smaller than those of the renaissance recorders but larger than those of the baroque recorder - Its range is more extensive than the renaissance recorder - Its sound is almost as powerful as the renaissance recorder, but is better defined and more flexible.
