These versatile, Renaissance-era instruments are based on original instruments by Hieronymus F. Kynseker (1636-1686) kept at the Germanic National Museum in Nuremberg. Mollenhauer's Kynseker ensemble instruments remain faithful to the most important characteristics of the originals: their aesthetics form, volume, and strong, distinctive sound. Tuning and sound have been carefully matched, making these superb for consort playing. The fingerings are similar to those of the familiar Baroque fingering patterns. These instruments are also especially noteworthy for their stability in the lower register. This alto is available in keys f and g. This instrument is sold in a soft, leather bag with a microfiber cleaning swab, cork grease, fingering chart and maintenance instructions. We include duponol with every recorder order and oil where needed. Details:  Wood Stained Maple, Plumwood Keys f' or g' Fingering similar to Baroque Range  f1 - b3 or g1 - c3 Pitch a=442
