A finely modeled Italian Baroque style reclining cherub, hand-painted and dating to the 19th century. Rendered in ceramic with traces of its original polychrome finish, the figure features delicately painted facial details, softly curled hair, and small red-tinted wings. Shown in a relaxed, reclining pose with one arm raised and holding a quiver of arrows, the cherub embodies the allegorical traditions of Baroque devotional art. Timeworn patina and areas of surface wear enhance the piece's antique character, lending a sense of history and authenticity.
