A monumental sculpture with black and rust colored geometric patterns that are traditional tribal decoration. The spirit “Ninkinanka” called “Bansonyi” or “A-mantsho-na-tshol” or “Inap” reigned among the Baga people, who feared him. He was the spirit involved in curing infertility and droughts, bringing prosperity, wealth, and rain. A unique collector’s item of African sculpture art. From a private collection.
