An expressive and lively lithograph titled "Manuscript" from artist Calman Shemi. Hand signed in pencil on the bottom right with an annotation of 90/300 on the bottom left. This lovely piece has a very artful mix of colors, shapes, and themes. The pinks and different shades of blues mix wonderfully in the center of this piece. Dimensions: 34.5 in tall, 44.75 in wide, and 1 in deep (framed). In very good condition.  Calman Shemi (1939- ) is a contemporary abstract expressionist painting known for “lacquer paintings,” “soft painting,” and “window paintings.” In 1961, at age 20, Shemi had the opportunity to study under the German-Israeli sculptor Rudi Lehmann, one of the pioneers of sculpture in the Middle East. In the last two decades, he has held more than 70 solo exhibitions in the United States, Belgium, Spain, Germany, Japan, France, and the Middle East.
