The Petite Scallop is another historic tile design. The ogee geometric shape was a common characteristic of European Gothic style but first appeared in the Middle East. It is a very flexible shape and has the ability to tessellate in four different variations. Create a sophisticated atmosphere with this brilliant concept for your luxurious backsplash or bath wall design. This tile shape is also known as Moroccan Fish Scale, mermaid, or fan tile. You can combine (4) of these to tessellate an Arabesque or wave pattern on your wall.
