Jeni Le Gon (African American Dancer-Actress in Val Lewton's Horror Classic, I Walked with a Zombie) Autograph

Subject:  Jeni Le Gon Size:  Slightly under 4.5x5.5 Description:  Autograph album page inscribed and signed by the great tap dancer (1916-2012) who gave a brief but memorable performance as a ritual participant in the famous voodoo sequence of the Val Lewton-produced horror classic, I Walked with a Zombie (1943; directed by Jacques Tourneur).  Le Gon also had a nice number with the legendary Bill "Bojangles" Robinson in the 1935 musical, Hooray for Love.  Very, very rare.  (Vintage item circa thirties) Condition:  Fine with slight roughness on the lower left edge and minor wear
