This rare, crested mutation of the already unique Eve’s needle forms a broad, flattened stem covered in jellybean shaped tubercles topped in a dot of furry wool. Most intriguing, however, are the petite cylindrical, leaf-like tubercles that emerge from the upper margin of the stem, creating a fan of texture sure to add a unique element to any succulent collection. Native to the harsh landscapes of the Peruvian Andes, it is a tough and hardy plant, despite what its exotic appearance may suggest. Like many cacti this specimen will thrive the best when provided with the brightest light possible for your home, such as a southern facing windowsill.
