The Rose City

This work is made with professional acrylic and oil  paint and it’s 30 x 40 inches on gallery wrapped 1.5 inch thick canvas.   Inspiration:  There’s a lot happening in this piece—movement, restlessness, uncertainty, but beneath all of that is something gentler, too. A quiet hum of possibility. A flicker of hope that I hadn’t felt in a long time. Could this be my new reality? I feel a spark inside me igniting in this new city. ✨ This painting is about what it means to begin again—not with a clean slate, but with a full heart. It’s about walking forward while carrying fear in one hand and self-trust in the other. It’s about choosing to believe that love, belonging, and peace can grow in unfamiliar places, even when you’re not sure you deserve them yet.
