Cherry Flathead Cooking Spatula - 12"

Description: The design of this spatula makes it good for multiple cooking uses. The wide head makes it a useful tool not just for sautéing and stirring but also for serving, while the flat leading edge is good for scraping the bottom of the pan. The leading edges of the spoon are beveled for better scooping and scraping performance.  How it's made:This utensils is made from wood I harvested from our family farmland near Waynetown, Indiana. I cut each individual utensil to its rough shape on the bandsaw and then shape it on a belt sander before hand sanding and finishing with organic distilled coconut oil. No step in the process is automated.  Care:All wood items should be hand-washed. If you’d like to restore the utensil’s original tones, you may occasionally treat it with mineral oil, butcher block oil, distilled/fractionated coconut oil, or any other food-safe wood finish.  The larger the utensil, the more important it is to oil the utensil periodically due to the greater amount of
