Maple Roundhead Spoon - 14"
Description: This classic design is a great all-purpose cooking and serving utensil. The spoon bowl has a capacity slightly greater than a quarter cup, making it great for not just preparing but also serving soups, casseroles, and other dishes. The angles on the handle of the spoon help the user keep tabs on the direction of the concealed end of the spoon while stirring in stock pots. How it's made:This spoon is made from wood purchased from a local father-son sawmill and kiln operation. I cut each individual utensil to its rough shape on the bandsaw and then shape it on a belt sander before hand sanding and finishing with organic distilled coconut oil. No step in the process is automated. Care:All Leaning Locust wood utensils should be hand-washed. If you’d like to restore the original tones, you may occasionally treat it with mineral oil, butcher block oil, fractionated (distilled) coconut oil, or any other food-safe wood finish. The larger the utensil, the more important it is
