Maple Traditional Spoon - 13"

Description: This traditional design is a great all-purpose cooking and serving utensil. It's great for preparing and serving soups, casseroles, and other dishes.     How it's made:This spoon is made from wood that was purchased from a local father-son sawmill and kiln operation. I cut each individual utensil to its rough shape on the bandsaw and then shape it on a belt sander before hand sanding and finishing with organic distilled coconut oil. No step in the process is automated.  Care:All Leaning Locust wood utensils should be hand-washed. If you’d like to restore the original tones, you may occasionally treat it with mineral oil, butcher block oil, fractionated (distilled) coconut oil, or any other food-safe wood finish.  The larger the utensil, the more important it is to oil the utensil periodically.
