The Starboard FX-79E2 is a touch sensitive interactive whiteboard. It can be operated with just a finger or pen, enabling users to write and draw simply by touching the surface. Its included StarBoard software package is easy to use and is ideal for both education and business users. In whiteboard mode, it provides a blank surface and several digital pens to write with. Users can write and draw on the board, as well as save this content to their computer. And to simplify its use even more, there are both physical and digital toolbars to provide fast access to commonly used features. Want to write in red? Just press the red button. Want black? Press black. It’s that easy. Documents and images from your computer can also be shown on the screen and annotated over. With annotation, users can write over the file with drawings or notes, and then save their changes. The marked up file can then be re-opened at a later date, emailed to participants, etc. The image below shows the layout of the board and its toolbars on the left and right side. Below that are closeups of some of the most common icons - pens, an eraser, and a mouse. An effective presentation tool The FX-79E2 connects with your computer and can access the Internet, Powerpoint presentations, documents and more. The touch sensitive surface makes it very easy to use - simply touch the screen to advance a slide or scroll through a window. If there is a file being shown that you wish to open, just double tap its icon on the board’s surface. Remote conferencing feature in Starboard The Remote Conferencing function enables users to have a dynamic way of learning and conducting business. This powerful feature allows both parties from two different locations to collaborate on the same screen and annotate running applications, browse web pages and add comments or notes to the documents at the same time.
