Zumi crabapple is a fantastic sleeper species for bonsai. It has smaller leaves and fruit than a Sargent crabapple and has tiny yellow fruit that hold all winter. This is a great tree for smaller bonsai. This tree was created from a root cutting, so it has interesting natural movement. The trunk is about the thickness of a pencil. It will make a fantastic smaller tree with a few years of branch work.
