For a finished dog bowl stand: the top is stained and sealed with multiple coats of lawyer. The base is painted white and personalized with your pet’s name. For unfinished: it will have no stain, paint or name on the stand. Completely unfinished wood. Felt pads are on the bottom of each leg to protect your floor from scratches.
