The Danfoss HD250 (formerly UQM HD250) is a high power PMAC (permanent magnet AC) electric motor designed for heavy duty, high torque applications. The HD250 M+C+T included the motor, controller, and transmission. The transmission in this Danfoss/UQM unit is a 2-speed pneumatic (air-pressure operated) Eaton transmission. This heavy duty electric motor can be used in a variety of applications ranging from schools buses to mining equipment and even consumer vehicles.
