X+L 02 Room Divider - Tall

X+L (Xander Vervoort & Leon van Boxtel), developed as part of a collection crafted entirely from upcycled wood. A byproduct of the furniture-making process, smaller teak offcuts often remain unused. Rather than discarding this material, the design leverages these remnants to create functional, considered objects. Drawn to the idea of repurposed teak, X+L designed the Room Divider as the first piece in the series. Each screen is singular in composition, with subtly varied block arrangements. Individually shaped and polished by hand before assembly, the process demands a high level of skill and craftsmanship. As a natural material, teak presents tonal variations, further ensuring that no two pieces are alike.
