ControlOMatic MegaChlor Replacement Electrode Overview The MegaChlor replacement electrode is only compatible with the ControlOMatic MegaChlor power supply. ControlOMatic MegaChlor replacement electrodes are specifically designed to retrofit your existing salt system on a hot tub or spa up to 1000 gallons. This replacement salt cell installs in just minutes: simply remove the 4 screws to open the ChlorMaker control box, loosen the 2 terminal post screws, and remove the old electrode. This cell is made to meet or exceed original factory specs and has 100% guaranteed compatibility. The MegaChlor electrode simply drapes over the side of the hot tub into the water when you desire active spa sanitation, the spa doesn't even have to be on or running!
