Lekithos® Organic Pumpkin Seed Protein is obtained from slightly toasted, flavor-packed organic pumpkin seeds of the Styrian oil pumpkin (Cucurbita pepo var. styriaca), a Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) within Austria. This pumpkin variety is globally unique and features seeds of very soft consistency by having lost the hard outer shell during a mutation approximately 100 years ago. The result is a seed unlike any other, yielding a superior quality olive colored protein with an exceptional pumpkin seed taste!
