This is for the ORIGINAL painting of Thy Will. It is 11X14 oil on panel. 3/4 inch thickness. It comes unframed. All sales final. No returns. In this piece I imagine the Savior going to the Father with turmoil in His soul, head raised as He seeks for clarity, understanding, confidence and peace in His decisions. I imagine Him having a moment of connection with God where He is aligning His will with The Father's, seeking His guidance as He moves forward with His pursuit to break the chains of death and sin. I love the intentional searching on Christ's face, the clasped hands relaxed in prayer at His waist, the warmth that surrounds Him. A representation that true peace and happiness come when we surrender our will to God.
