Born in Donzdorf, Baden-Württemberg, von Fürstenberg has been painting since the age of five. She was a textile designer for Göppinger Wäsche- und Bekleidungsfabrik Benedikt von Fürstenberg, her father's business, and has also designed motifs for greeting cards for the publishing house Reiterkunstverlag AG Zürich. She currently creates jewelry in collaboration with the Munich-based jeweler Stephan Kaddick. Among other collections, her work is on permanent exhibition at Stefan Lubczyk's Tovaletto in Munich, Germany.
