I have long wanted to bead non-jewelry objects to show off beautiful bead colors, and have wanted to find a way to let light illuminate them. This water lilies scene has over 30 different colors of delica beads and features a 3D dragonfly detail. It was based on a photograph, and beaded in a mix of opaque and transparent delica beads. I mounted it on a slab of 3/4" thick plexiglass. It looks beautiful in a window. Truly a one-of-a-kind object. 6" square.
