My name is Christopher Viesca and I’m a guitarist, composer and arranger. My love for harmony, theory and jazz was really sparked from the likes of Frank Zappa and was further explored while I got my Associate of Arts degree at Pierce Community College. As my ears grew, so did my ambitions as I completed my Bachelor of Arts in Jazz Studies at Cal State Northridge where I played with many group iterations, including professionals like Gordon Goodwin, and Scott Whitfield, as well as got to study with guitarists like John Pisano and Jamie Rosenn.  I sincerely love the juxtaposition of simplicity and complexity in jazz, and all kinds of music that explores harmony and melody more deeply.
